Nominasi untuk BAFTA Games Award diumumkan
Satu bulan menuju acara, BAFTA merilis nominasi game award di 2020 dengan belasan kategori mulai dari Best Game, Music, hingga Original Property. Tiap kategori memiliki enam game yang mendapat nominasi.
Rentetan game bergengsi yang sudah memenangkan award hadir di dalam acara ini seperti Control, Sekiro, Death Stranding, dan Disco Elysium. Control yang memenangkan IGN Game of the Year Award hadir di dalam 11 nominasi, bersama game besutan Hideo Kojima yakni Death Stranding.
